Ingredients:
12 medium-sized ripe tomatoes
1 red pepper
1 onion
2 cups vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons salt
2 teaspoons cloves
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons allspice
2 teaspoons nutmeg
Directions:
Peel and slice tomatoes; add chopped pepper and onion; put into kettle
with remaining ingredients. Heat slowly to boiling and cook slowly
2-1/2 hours. Seal in sterilized jars.
