Ingredients:
1 large can (28 ounces) barbecue beans
1/2 to 1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper (1 medium pepper)
1/2 cup julienne carrots, optional
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can (14.5 ounces) tomatoes, diced
Directions:
Brown ground beef with onion; combine with remaining ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook bean stew on low 6 to 8 hours.
