Ingredients:
1/2 c. shortening
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 tsp. orange extract
1 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Cream shortening and cheese; add sugar gradually; add egg yolk, extract; beat well. Add flour and salt. Chill dough. Shape into balls and press flat. (Cookie press can be used). Bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields 5 dozen cookies.
