Ingredients:
--CHOCOLATE MIXTURE:--

Melt: 1 pkg. German sweet chocolate
3 tbsp. butter

Set chocolate mixture aside and cool. Beat 2 eggs until light and fluffy. Add 3/4 cup sugar and beat until thickened. Add: 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. unsifted flour

Blend in melted chocolate mixture and add: 1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. almond extract

--CREAM CHEESE LAYER:--

Cream: 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tbsp. butter

Add 1/4 cup sugar; cream well. Blend in: 1 egg
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Spread half chocolate mixture in 9 inch greased square pan. Spread cheese mixture on evenly on top of chocolate mixture. Spread remaining chocolate mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until tests done with toothpick, approximately 25 to 35 minutes.
